Finalist in BC Ideas Contest - Beauty Night Society

“We are thrilled to be one of the 11 finalists for the BC Ideas competition and need your help to be one of the top three finalists. If we are chosen, $15, 000 would be invested in our cause. This would help us in our mission to build self esteem and change lives for women and youth living in poverty. In the past twelve years, we have given 26, 000 makeovers thanks to 500 volunteers. Just imagine what we could do with additional support,” says Caroline MacGillivray, Beauty Night Founder and Executive Director.

BC Ideas is an online competition, which asks British Columbians like you to bring forward innovative ideas and programs that address the challenges facing our province.

Starting at 9am, please vote for your favorite finalist beginning October 26. The two-week voting period (Oct 26th-Nov 9th) is your chance to engage your network and community of innovators to cast their vote for your innovation! The top three vote getters after the voting period will each receive a $15,000 People’s Choice investment.

More than $250,000 in investments will be awarded to top entries. Entrants will also have the opportunity to access additional investments following the competition. Please vote and ask your friends to vote for our cause too. This can be done through facebook or the BC Ideas website.
