Board of Directors

Annie Bennett - Director

Annie Bennett is a London trained make up artist for film and television, she also is a certified member of the British Association of Skin Camouflage for scars and burn victims. After living in the UK and reading an article about Beauty Night Society she envisioned setting up a chapter of the society in London. Upon reflection however, realised that it would be impossible to fully encapsulate the Beauty Night Society ethos and procedures without having the practical experience of actually participating in a Beauty Night session. Upon gaining the opportunity to come to Vancouver her original idea was to gain this necessary experience in order to put it into practice for women in London, however upon arrival in Vancouver, meeting Caroline and working with the Beauty Night ladies in the role of facialist the plans quickly shifted in that her relocation is now permanent. Annie loves all aspects of Beauty Night from seeing regular clients and building up a repartee to the introduction of new people who can come and are embraced by the environment. Beauty Night Society incorporates Annie’s fundamental belief that having a foundation in self is the most valuable commodity anybody can posses.

This experience motivated Kristi to return to university in 2006, where she obtained her second degree, a Bachelor Degree in Social Work, specializing in Aboriginal child welfare.
