We are thrilled to be nominated for a Small Business BC Award in the Best Community Impact Category! Team Beauty Night member, Laura Zeller nominated us for the work we do.
It is very well known the impact the Downtown Eastside has on Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Caroline MacGillivray’s commitment to serving the women of the downtown Eastside has created a demand throughout the Lower Mainland including request for service from a local correctional facility. The Beauty Night Society gives women and children living in poverty the opportunity to experience human contact, beauty, health and wellness they would otherwise not experience and this in turn promotes esteem and life building skills.
