Apple MobileMe

Apple has customized MobileMe to work well with the Apple iPhone. But it also has great integration with Microsoft Exchange, which mail2web Mobile Email is based on. In addition to Push Email, Contacts and Calendars, mail2web Mobile Email also has Tasks and To-Do lists, and can synchronize with many different devices other than just the iPhone. You can also get advanced server side rules which will allow you to sort and filter your email automatically, without having to log on to do it manually. And mail2web Mobile Email will help you save almost $40 per year. And if you need full desktop access and synchronization with Outlook 2007 or Entourage 2008, mail2web Mobile Email helps you achieve that at a comparable price.

Google Gmail

Google has done a lot over the years to build a great web-based email application delivering many of the features that paid email solutions offer, at almost no cost to you. Recently Google has also introduced Contacts and Calendar synchronization using Exchange ActiveSync. But they have yet to provide one of the most important features: Push Email. Additionally, with Gmail you will have a hard time getting Customer Support. If something goes wrong or you need help with your service, there is little you can do to get assistance. With mail2web Mobile Email, you’re covered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year.

Yahoo! Mail

Yahoo! Mail provides a decent webmail application, but without any Mobile Synchronization features you’re limited to simply viewing your email on the web when you need updates. Even if you upgrade to the Yahoo! Mail Plus service you still won’t be able to receive Push Sync for Email, Contacts or Calendars on your mobile device. You’ll get POP3, IMAP4 and SMTP access, but little more.

Windows® Live Hotmail

Hotmail also provides a good webmail application, but doesn’t provide much more than the other competition. You can get POP3 and SMTP Access for free, but there are no options for Push Synchronization of your Email, Contacts or Calendar. If you want access to your account on your computer you can use Windows Mail, Microsoft Outlook or some other Email Client. You can download your email by POP3 or IMAP4 but to synchronize you have to install additional add-on to Outlook in order to synchronize your contacts and calendars.
